Twenty Something Sullivan was included in the 3D Art Gallery at the Rapid 2016 event.
Introduced in 2010, the 3D Art Gallery highlights the innovative new approach to art creation and production that’s made possible by additive manufacturing, 3D printing, 3D imaging, and digital sculpture. This high-speed, on-demand medium allows the impossible to be possible from the finite barriers of reproduction for a single artist to the unlimited reproductions of artists’ works. At RAPID + TCT 2017, artists familiar with design software and additive manufacturing processes have the opportunity to display their work to an appreciative audience.
Other artists exhibiting in 2016 were Paul Leonard, Andrew Werby, Robert Krawczyk, Michael Cottrell, Charles Stevens, Julia DeArriba-Montgomery, Adam Hawk, Andrew Noble, Aaron Trocola, Donna Sweigart and Jason Ferguson.
We are pleased to announce that Twenty Something Sullivan has been added to the Chicago Public Library Special Collection. Now Chicagoans across the city will be able to go to the Harold Washington library and access Louis H. Sullivan’s ornament in person.
Twenty Something Sullivan is featured in “MADE FOR YOU: NEW DIRECTIONS IN CONTEMPORARY DESIGN” curated by Jennifer Scanlan at the Samuel Dorsky Museum of Art, State University New York, New Paltz, NY.

Opening reception Saturday, February 6, 2016, 5–7 pm
In the 21st century, design has become personal. Bombarded by an endless array of mass-produced objects in big box stores and on the Internet, people are increasingly attracted to the unique and custom-made. Drawing on designers and makers in the Hudson Valley and environs, this exhibition considers the ways in which the contemporary design object is customized for the individual, from the one-of-a-kind objects made by craft techniques to the latest technological advances of 3D printing. The exhibition will include approximately 25 designers/makers and demonstrate a range of approaches to design.
